EBAC was founded in 1898, and the club waters at the time were the Gravel Lane. The Dam was created in the early 1920’s and in 1990 Hardwater gravel pit was added as Club waters.
The Dam is restocked at minimum every other year with various species. Hardwater has had 5 stockings in the last 12 years with lots of various species. You will find various species in the Gravel Lane including Chub, Roach, Bream, Perch, Bleak and Carp.
In the past few months, we have been improving our waters and giving it a refresh.
Firstly the Dam, we have cleared around the edges as this was overgrown. As you can see in the before and after photos it is now looking a lot better!
We have also stocked the Dam with carp 2lb – 3lb
We have been spending some time on the pegs making them more sturdy and making them easier to sit at with your fishing equipment.
In total, we have completed 10 pegs.
We have now made and car park which can hold on average 6 cars which are at the end of the track so you no longer have to park on the main road.
We have also stocked hardwater with Bream 2lb – 6lb
With these new improvements, we hope you enjoy our facilities and have a good catch! We would love to see any photos of your catches and from which of our waters please send these to our email Earlsbartonanglingclub@yahoo.com. You can see the latest photos in our Gallery page.
